Many webhosts have a cPanel control panel for all the adjustments you make to your website. In fact almost all of the main webhosting companies (including Hostgator which I use and recommend) use the cPanel. From time to time you may have a question or two and I have found the free flash tutorials at http://www.2serveu.net/support/cpanel-tutorial.htm to be very helpful. They have tutorials on creating a subdomain, using File Manager, redirecting a URL, creating an add-on domain and many other things which you will eventually want to know. I have that site bookmarked under my favorites just in case I get in trouble and you may want to as well.
