I thought I would post a video of a very entertaining TV show from Japan. This one is called Ninja Warrior (Sasuke) and it is viewable on the cable channel G4 in the United States. This video only shows one contestant who makes it through the obstacle course but the many who fail and fall in the water are amusing to say the least. There are a variety of contestants many of whom are famous people in Japan and some of their Olympic athletes. The occasional foreigner gives the course a try as well. There is also a Women of Ninja Warrior. This show would be a big hit in the US. C’mon please make the US version! I would LOVE to go on that show!

Ninja Warrior Game Show On G4 (Sasuke)

I love Japanese gameshows! I’m hooked on Takeshi’s Castle here in the UK where 100 very non-athletic looking crazy people throw themselves at obstacles resulting in lots of sore looking situations.
I love Ninja Warriors! They are shipping one U.S. challenger into Japan’s Ninja Warriors show. They should definitely have it in the U.S.
My husband introduced me to this show. Love it! Watched it the first time recorded 9/9. Three fantastic hours. This weekend there is a huge red G4 square in the upper right hand corner obstructing the viewing. Gee, kinda like Fox News Network. Fortunately I’m not subject to seizures. Hope it’s only this showing. Too bad…cool show, but I can’t see how they grab (or don’t) the rock ledge in course 1. I’ll watch on Monday and Tuesday – if the red crap is still impeding my viewing, guess I’ll have to go the Japan and see it live. :( No more G4 – Obviously that network doesn’t want viewers to see what’s going on in a show actually worth watching.
Our daddy should go on this show because we think he would win. How does one apply?
Its a great show!!!!
Awsome – you really feel for him when he fell at the last hurdle – his arms must have been throbbing.
Looks a great show though – real fitness fanatics dream
