I’m back from Tokyo and finally just getting over the time change / jet lag. Here are a few pictures from my trip.

Everyone should have a two car garage right?

Tokyo Tower

Imperial Palace Grounds

$100 a melon?….Do they have gold in them?

Famous crossing at Shibuya

Dressing up in Harajuku (Cosplay)

These are harder to find now days…unless you REALLY have to go

I’m so curious what that car was doing up there! It looked just like construction stuff, but is it actually a garage level that lowers down to the ground level? Or not? I’m curious!

The outer part of the building was having repairs done to it but the car was in its normal “parking spot”. The second car would go right under the one you see…and with it you have a “two car garage”.

    Thanks for the pics.

I was in Tokyo when I was like 12. I’m 22 now, and I really miss it.

I can’t wait to go back.

Japan is definitely the #1 country I’ve ever been too.

Something I’ve always wondered is if fruit is generally that expensive? Usually when I see pictures from Japan, there will be a picture of ridiculously overpriced fruit. But does anyone ever buy a $100 melon? I’ve also heard of $10 apples and so on. But I guess it can’t always be like that, right?

That fruit is meant for a gift….a very nice gift. I’ve never understood either why anyone would pay that much for a couple of perfet melons but since they have been selling that type of expensive fruit for ages, someone must be buying it.

When I lived in Japan as a kid and my Mom taught English, she would sometimes get a gift of expensive fruit from the parents of the children she taught.

that is construction scaffolding around the building and the car is in a parking riser, also that melon is 210 dollars not 100

    No poopsy,
Thats 210 dollars for TWO melons not one. There are two melons in the box.

Yes, the car is in a parking “riser” as you call it. I call it a two car garage.
