6/28/08 UPDATE: As you can see, I have started making some nice money with NeverBlue in the last couple of months. I love the real-time stats and get this: I just emailed my Account Manager about a bad link and I got an email back in 5 minutes from him! If you are not trying out CPA ads on your website(s) you might be missing out. Another thing, I have gotten checks right away from them every month, just like clockwork.
I have promoted things on Clickbank and Commission Junction but neither of those have many CPA (cost per action) advertisers. Having had some luck with a couple on CJ that pay for just leads, I was looking for another alternative that had more of those types of offers to choose from.
Well, I found it and I thought I would do this NeverBlueAds review. I had heard good things about NeverBlue but like some other affiliate media companies, you can’t view what advertisers are in the program until you join. This prevented me from joining right away as I kind of like to know whether it is worth it to sign up before hand so I don’t waste my time.
I finally decided to sign up and I have some good things to say about them. Before you can become a member and view their site, you have to get a call back from one of their associates. Never Blue doesn’t accept everyone and that’s a good thing. I don’t know specifically what their requirements are because the rep looked at my blog and noted that it was about 6 months old, had a lot of posts, and was getting good traffic. He asked me a few questions about DayJobNuker.com and said they would accept me. He then assigned me to my own affiliate manager who I can call if I ever have questions.
Once accepted, you will find there are several hundred or so companies and/or campaigns to promote. I would say about 70% of them pay you for leads and leads only (CPA). That is what I wanted so that was good. The campaigns fall under a variety of 23 different categories including ones such as ringtones, automotive, entertainment, beauty, and insurance. Looking through the campaigns requiring a lead, I see that most of them convert after the person fills out a one or two page form – pretty standard. Those types of advertisers pay anywhere from 50 cents to $4.00 per lead.
The stats portion of the NeverBlue site is great (they are in real time and not delayed) as you can run a variety of reports designed to give you any information you want. It will show you how many clicks you are getting each day for each campaign which I really like because I can then know that I have set things up properly and the links are working. They give you choices of banners, text links, and emails to promote your for each of your chosen campaigns although I do wish there were more banner choices.
Interestingly I noticed 3 or 4 advertisers which I recognized from Commission Junction. One of them paid less through NeverBlueAds and one of them paid more while the others paid the same.
They have some advertisers and CPA campaigns that are seasonal and geared toward Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s day and so on. These campaigns can be used for the short period of time leading up to the event and can get you some quick clicks if you choose that route.
If you are interested in generating some money from leads and CPA, it seems NeverBlueAds is a great place to start. Right now, I have put some links in a couple of my Squidoo lenses that were getting hits but before this I didn’t have the right affiliate products to promote. I have also put many of their links in my niche blogs and they are generating clicks and signups.
If you are tired of the same old stuff from ClickBank and CJ, I suggest you give NeverBlueAds a try. They are very professional, their site is easy to understand and navigate, and I am sure you will be able to make money with NeverBlueAds.
