How To Make Money From Home | Ways To Make Money

A Complaint Free Thanksgiving Week

Another late night at the office and Bruce was at it again. He was always complaining and always saying how he wanted to nuke his day job. Chuck, who was sitting in the next cubicle had had enough. “Look,” Chuck said, “you know I hate my job and I hate your job too but shut up! If you want to complain go over there and do it with Mr. Disgruntled. He’s always ready to bitch and moan about everything job related.”

Now, if there was anyone who was good at complaining about the job it was Mr. Disgruntled. This guy was a pro and so Bruce sauntered over to his cube to see if he could get any support from him. “You want to talk about this crummy job?” Mr. Disgruntled said. “Let me tell you a story. My brother Garry is a lawyer over there at the law offices of Tuttle & Franqui and he makes 5 times what I make. I don’t know how he ever passed law school either. The only thing I can think of is that Garry conned  a professor or something”.

Bruce was encouraged now that he had found someone with an equally bad attitude. “What I don’t understand is why do we work so hard and get paid so little while our managers have already gone home?” “I mean, they are probably already in their pajamas and curled up on the couch watching their plasma TV’s that they bought over at SlyVisions”.

“You know me, I hate all managers”. Mr. Disgruntled then suddenly got a curious look on his face. “Hey, I wonder if we can make big money online? Yeah! If we could just make money online then maybe we could find a way to get out of here!”

“I don’t know” Bruce said. “What are you going to do? Are you going to quit your day job to blog? You know, you will probably only make cents blogging and not dollars. You might get off to a grand start only to fizzle after about 3 months like every other blog. It’s not like you are going to become a ProBlogger or anything. Some of the top bloggers have delusions of grandeur and you wouldn’t want to become like them, would you?”

“No, you are right. I probably would just end up blogging about my blog.” Mr. Disgruntled wasn’t going to be discouraged quite that quickly though. “I know Internet marketing sucks but maybe I could join some 5 star affiliate programs and make some money that way. We both think alike it’s almost as if we have one mans goal…..maybe we could start our entrepreneurs journey together!”

It was then that Mr. Disgruntled spied Dazzling Donna walking down the isle toward them in her usual purple outfit. Right behind her was Married Melody  and Pat B. Doyle. “Shhh, be quite for a minute” he said, “look who’s coming…we are really gonna get it now!”

Dazzling Donna was the first to speak: “Are you guys complaining again? Seriously, you should take about twenty steps back and learn to be thankful for all the things you have. You know, life is colorful and you two really need to learn how to look on the bright side of things.”

“Yeah you two,” Married Melody chimed in, “some women think it is 5X better being a Mom than being out in the workforce making money. All you guys do is complain about how little you get paid. There are other things in life than money. Can’t you at least take a week off? It is Thanksgiving week you know.”

Bruce and Mr. Disgruntled looked at each other. It was late and both were tired and wanted to go home. “Alright” Bruce said grudgingly. “but only because it’s Thanksgiving. I won’t complain for one whole week.

Mr. Disgruntled looked at his watch and started putting away his papers. “Yeah, me to. But only because it’s Thanksgiving!”
