It seems no one was able to guess correctly. The answer is Amy Bass of mydebtfreegoal.com
11/24/07 Update: Since I revealed who the websites belong to a lot has happened.
1) Amy has put her site up for sale HERE. This is a personal blog with a personal story and I doubt it will fetch very much. She has a “buy it now” for $63,000.00 LOL. This is becoming comical.
She was selling and now she has decided against it claiming she loves her readers and she made a mistake. Just like I predicted in the above sentence her site was not going to fetch very much so now she is doing damage control. LOL
2) Amy found this post, was upset, and left the two comments you can read toward the bottom.
3) She apparently posted a thread on a private message board of the site “earn1Kaday” which undoubtedly said some not so nice things about me as I promply got over 60 hits from that that site and am still getting them today.
4) She then sent me a nice email asking me to remove her websites from this post and to “let her have her privacy”.
This has been a very difficult decision for me. Amy makes a lot of money by telling her readers everday how much she is making from her work from home jobs. She is a selling machine (that is not a bad thing) as a large percentage of her posts are designed to get people to buy things through her affiliate links and she even asks them to buy through her links.
If you have a website, blog, or any other type of site on the Internet, “privacy” is the one thing you should know that you cannot have. The Internet is one huge free for all with clues everywhere and the most you can really do to have that privacy is to give out as little information as possible. For her to ask for her privacy as she at the same time posts daily on her blog seems a bit naive to me. Anyone can find the information I found as there is no way to disguise it.
Nevertheless, I am not going to dig in for a fight here and as you can see I have removed her websites from the list at the top of this post. I thought this little guessing game post would be fun and I got a lot of comments from this post so I was right.
I don’t know… you?
By any chance could they be yours lol? Well they are all nice different niches, and im sure they would make good money with google adsense. Should rank well for SERP because of the limited number of sites in each nice.
Andy
Nope. Not mine.
Regardless of who’s they are, these are a good collection of niche sites. I’m certainly going to be studying them to see what I can learn.
I give up… is there a door prize for the correct guess? :)
No prize but I think someone will know. Pretty sure.
Yes, these are great examples of niche websites.
Thanks for showing them, DayJobNuker. =]
Could they belong to Google?
John Chow maybe?
or
Yaro Starek?
Shoemoney.
Still no correct answer.
Uber Affiliate?
my bet is: Day Job Nuker.Com
No, they are not my sites and no one has correctly guessed yet.
Garry Conn
No
Jon Waraas?
Jewish Jon? :P
are they godaddy sites that are up for grabs?
This is bothering the hell out of me. Whoever “thereviewer” is. I assume that’s not enough though.
Ok guys..narrowing this down. Blackhat, or grayhat tendencies…(yes, I’m well aware I just commented)
Yes SlightlyShadySEO,
“thereviewer” is correct and she is Amy Bass of mydebtfreegoal.com
Interesting! How did you find out that these were her websites?
I think that is very rude that you went and told people my niches.
Well, since it is out in the open. Anyone want to buy any of them? Email me.
heh not to steal any thunder..but ethan, if you find one of someone’s sites, the nicknames used to promote them(in her case on articles sites) almost show you their other sites, since they promote them off the same nick.
Slightyshady, you are well named. Would you out your gay friends?
Whoa, Amy really likes long domains, and most of them are dot nets
why are you curious? Are you admire him? :D Honestly, he’s inspire me to choose usefull domain name.
Amy’s expecting to sell it for over $63k, my God
You can do an ip reverse lookup on anyone’s domain and find out the other sites that are linked to them.
