I know quite a few who constantly talk about wanting to work at home or sell stuff on Ebay, but they fail to realize all the hard work it takes to keep it going. At your day job you have the security of a weekly or bi-weekly paycheck where all yu have to do is show up and not get fired. But when your self employed you can really get stressed out with trying month after month to keep food on the table for your family. Best advise I can give is to not quite your day job till you have a steady stream comming in from your business that exceeds what you were making.
