As others have suggested, exercise (of any sort really) is the best answer to stress. I am a big fan of yoga, but just walking around the neighborhood will help. Before I quit my day job I was a very frequent user of the gym at work. My goal is to exercise at least 4 times a week. I also find it helps to do one social event a week (I'm single so no partner to talk to) and hang out with people in a fun setting.

I'd say the best way to handle workplace job stress is to just quit! Haha, jokes aside, there is some good information in this post. Personally, I work from home, but this is a great resource for those who actually go to work.

Managing stress is all about taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems. Since job and workplace stress grow in times of economic crisis, it’s important to learn new and better ways of coping with the pressure.
