You accumulate Swagbucks for doing a variety of things including surveys, polls, offers, trading in items, and using their search engine. I make ALL my money just by using their search engine every day instead of Google and for that I am rewarded with random amounts of Swagbucks which add up nicely over time.

I then trade in my accumulated Swagbucks for cash and gift cards. Take a look at the short video I made to explain it in a bit more detail and show you what I have made so far:

The key is that you can make real money (or gift cards and other prizes if you choose) and it is all totally free. Some prizes  you earn will be sent through the U.S. mail and some gift cards will be online codes that you get via email and redeem online (like iTunes).

Swagbucks is one of the few 100% legitimate free ways to make money online that really requires NO credit card and NO Paypal (unless you want to get paid via Paypal). All you have to do is to sign up and start using the Swagbucks site instead of Google for all your searches. EASY!

One of the things that is a real pain when you move is changing all the addresses to everything like your bank accounts, 401K’s, and in my case online affiliate programs I might belong to. Thank goodness for mail forwarding for all the things that I forgot to change!

One of the websites where I make money and went in and changed addresses was CashCrate. I spoke to no one and did it all myself online. In the case of CashCrate you have to be sure to always have your address up to date on that site because that is where your check will automatically get sent once you reach the payout amount. If you sign up with a fake address guess what….YOU WON’T EVER GET THE CHECK!

Well, a UPS guy knocked on my door this morning and handed me an envelope. I wasn’t expecting anything and wondered what it could be. Totally surprised, I found it was a $100 Target gift card from the owner of CashCrate as a housewarming gift. Now I have never even talked to Joe the owner and I don’t even know him. Other than a couple of exchanged emails over a 4+ year period I have had no contact with him at all. Nevertheless, here was a very generous (and very real) gift cart and the only way he would have known I moved is because he noticed my address change. (I have added the “DayJobNuker.com” watermark)

Now, I must add that you WON’T get a gift card from CashCrate for moving like I did. I assume I got it because I am a top affiliate with them. I am probably on their radar a bit more than others. However it goes to show once again that CashCrate is legit and the guys behind the website are totally above board and honest. Really, they are and if you have ever read or heard from anyone that CashCrate is a scam, then the person telling that story was flat out not telling the truth!

The whole premise that an 18 year old kid could have made over half a million dollars is ridiculous but what is more crazy is that if he had really made that money why would he be bothering to try to sell anything to you? Wouldn’t he just keep doing what he is doing and continue to rake in the big bucks?

These preposterous advertisements have been online for 10 years or more but they are still around so I guess they work. Here is another one that draws you in and makes you want to click on it just to see what is on the other side:

Behind each ad like these is usually a VERY long sales page that goes on and on and on about some new system for making money. These sales pages are very slick and enticing with well made videos, tons of testimonials, bullet-points, and dozens of reasons why you would be a fool to pass the offer up. These ads are written by professional copywriters who are very good at making something sound WAY better than it is.

In short, 100 out of 100 of this type of advertisement is pure BS!

If you truly want to learn how to make money online, you need to curb your addiction to buying the crap that is peddled in these ads. If they say it is a “system” run far away. There is no system for making money online. If they say anyone can do it you should also run far away. Making money online is hard and no, not everyone can do it. If they say it is easy you should run and hide too. Making money online is NOT easy and there is no push button system that will spit money out of your computer, no matter what they say.

I don’t even have any idea what those specific ads are for but they are so preposterous that I instinctively know that they are misleading and a waste of money. YES, YOU CAN MAKE GOOD MONEY ONLINE but it is not easy and you will have to work!
