If you are trying to make money from home and have been at it a while, you know that there are countless systems out there. Where ever you go, someone is trying to pitch the next best push button system that comes with new technology that is going to make you rich while you sleep. 99% of these eBooks and systems are crap but that is besides the point.

Obviously you shouldn’t be wasting your time on things that sound too good to be true and you should always ask yourself why the person is selling you their secret system when they could just keep making money with it themselves very quietly and anonymously?

BUT IF YOU JUST HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING…..

Make sure you NEVER buy right away without testing a few things first to see if you can get a discount. You see, many of the eBooks and super top secret money making systems will give you a discount if it appears that you are going to leave the site. After all, these things are always digital goods and cost the author nothing so they can afford to give you a discount. They will not be physically shipping anything and so if they can get even ten bucks out of you, that is better than nothing.

As an example we can use this money making opportunity called Push Button Cash Site. If you click the link and then scroll down the sales page you will eventually get to the “Download Now” button that shows the price is $47.00.

NEVER PAY THE FIRST PRICE YOU SEE WITHOUT TRYING THIS:

But don’t pay that price because you should always push the “back” button on your browser or close the window. When you try to leave the page you will get a popup about a SHOCKING VIDEO THAT CAN MAKE YOU RICH! Then you will get another pop up and you should follow instructions and push “cancel” button.

You will now be on the video page and the video will start. That is when the BS will really start rolling. It is almost comical all the crap that comes out of that guys mouth. Anyway, the price is still $47 on that page but you need to keep trying to back out. One more time either push the back button or close the window.

Another popup and ……WOO HOO! A $10.00 discount for you. Push the “cancel” button again and there is your $10.00 discount. But don’t stop there…..you need to try to see if you can get more.

One last time hit the “back” button or try to leave the window. You will see that there is only 1 left (yea right) and lucky you because you have now been selected to get $20 off!

$47 JUST BECAME $27!

That $20 off is all you are going to get from this particular example product but you should try this with any online money making thing you ever buy. You see, these are the tricks marketers use to get more sales and as I said earlier, $27 is better than nothing especially since the product costs them nothing.

I never recommend you buy a product like the one in the example because it is clearly too good to be true but if you just have to give it a shot…..you might as well try to get a discount!

Anyone who goes online to learn how to make money from home will undoubtedly come across the idea of blogging for money. It’s everywhere and has been for years, led by a guy called Problogger (Darren Rouse). He is everywhere when it comes to blogging and he pumps out the “how to blog” posts like, well, like I don’t know how he does it because he never stops.

He and others like him want you to start blogs and become bloggers and they claim you can make a lot of money doing it. They want you to blog about your “passion” and write quality content. They will spend countless hours and charge you countless dollars telling you that you can be a leader in your niche and that people will follow you. They tell you to Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Stumble, and Plurk your way to riches.

If you don’t believe me then go right ahead and buy his book ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income to see if you can do it. The thing is though, that he and his ilk aren’t bloggers themselves, THEY ARE INTERNET MARKETERS!

You see, there is a huge difference between being a blogger and an Internet marketer. HUGE. Internet marketers use a blog to sell things to you. They know how to sell. They know how to market products. They know how to make money by gaining your trust. Yes, they may use a blog to do this but they really aren’t ‘bloggers” like they want you to think. They are Internet marketers trying to sell you a lie about blogging.

The whole idea that you can blog for money is a lie that thousands upon thousands of people have fallen for. These people have wasted time and money trying and they have come up empty. Yet everywhere you go you will find books, ebooks, and other training aids that you can buy that will supposedly show you how to blog for money.

Blogging is the “in” thing and it’s cool. BUT BLOGGING FOR MONEY IS A LIE because 999 out of 1000 can’t do it.

If you want to make money on your computer, your better bet is to learn how to become an INTERNET MARKETER. Don’t waste your time building a blog trying to get a loyal following. Even if you are somehow able to do this, it is unlikely you will ever be able to get your readers to buy anything. After all, what do you really have to sell them?

You can use a blog as your business portal but first and foremost you should be learning how to sell things. If you don’t know how to sell (market) things to people, you will not make money. Period.

There is a lot of money in Internet marketing to be made. There is no doubt about that and those who are good at it really can make six figures a year. However, there is very little money in “blogging” so don’t waste your time buying books from Internet marketers who want to tell you how to do it.
