I hated my job and because of that I started this website. Rather than sit around and complain about their work situation like so many people do, I did something about it and that was to learn everything I could about how to make money through affiliate marketing. While I was never able to “Nuke” my job exactly like I had wanted to, I did have this website to fall back on when the time came for me to quit.
Too many of us dislike what we do but we continue to do it year after year. The reason is simple: we need to make money to live. I understand that we all have bills to pay and keeping a job is of the utmost importance, especially in an economy like this one. However, I think we become too complacent and accepting of the premise that we can’t find something better. We come up with this reason and that reason why we think no one would ever hire us for a better job and because we never try, we end up staying at the job we dislike.
Not everyone can be or will be successful in finding a job they like that pays enough to make ends meet. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t try. I worked hard learning affiliate marketing WHILE I had a full time job. I came home after work every day and put in additional hours in front of the computer writing for this blog and others. It wasn’t particularly fun but I sensed that I needed to do it so that I could be happier down the line. I was willing to sacrifice early on in hopes that it would pay dividends later.
I see people who constantly complain about their work situation yet they NEVER do anything about it. I don’t understand that mentality. You only have one life to live and that means it is up to you to go out there and make your situation better. At the very least, you should try.
Complaining about your job or your work situation isn’t going to make it better and it will annoy everyone around you. Get out there and explore what your options are. Learn new skills, apply for different jobs, and work hard to find something better or more enjoyable than you have now. It won’t be fun. But sometime later in life you will be very glad you did.
A person by the name of Jessie just left a comment on one of my posts asking why so many online jobs require you to pay them money. Here is the comment:

What Jessie doesn’t understand is that there are very few real online “jobs” and if you actually find one, I would assume it would be free to apply to. Jessie is correct that real jobs will not charge you money.
What Is An Online Job?
A lot of people look for jobs online but they are not all looking for the same thing. Some people are looking for real honest to goodness jobs that have benefits and a boss that keeps track of your work. Other people are just looking for some ways to make money. Many stay at home moms may look for online jobs but in reality are just be looking for something that can fill an hour or two of their days where they can make some extra money. So you see, not everyone is really looking for a job or a career.
I would say that many of the people that look for “work from home jobs” or “stay at home jobs“ are doing so because they can’t get a job in the real world for one reason or another. They want something simple where they can make some easy money at home. What they don’t understand is that nothing is simple or easy.
Jessie is right that if you happen to find a “real job” you can do online, whatever that is, you should not be charged for it. But does Jessie really understand that any real job will be hard to get and require you to have experience and qualifications? If you are educated and have experience, skills, and a good resume you will probably not be one of the people randomly searching on Google for an online job. You will most likely be networking with your contacts and getting the word out that you are looking for a job, one that can be done most of the time at home.
Most Things Are Just Ways To Make Money
99% of the things you see online that have to do with making money ARE NOT JOBS! They are just ways to make money. Even though they might be advertised as a job or as work, they are really just some sort of money making opportunity. And as many of you know, they might also be things that are misleading or scams.
Because so many things are scams, the few good programs get tainted just by association. The Keyword Academy (where Jessie left his comment) though, is one of the good ones and they do charge a monthly fee after the first month being given away for free.
Should you have to pay to learn how to make money online? Let’s reverse the question and ask why someone would bother to teach you for free? What is in it for them if they teach you for free? All your schooling had to be paid for throughout the years either by taxes or tuition and so why would you expect to be taught for free how to make money online? You shouldn’t and that is why people charge for their courses and systems.
The only real problem is that because so many of them turn out to be worthless, misleading, or dishonest that people become scared to pay for anything online in the “make money” arena.
